Mount Alam Kooh – is a mountain in Alborz mountain range in north of Iran, Mazandaran Province forming a peak of Takht-e Suleyman Massif. It is located in Kelardasht District. With an elevation of 4,850 meters, it is the second highest peak in Iran after Mount Damavand
Mount Damavand (In Persian: (دماوند) a dormant volcano, located in middle Alborz Range with 5671m elevation is the highest point in Iran (Persia) and is the highest peak in Middle East. The mountain is located in northeast of Tehran and the starting place for climbing is 100 km far from Tehran.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Tehran
Meet and assist in the aierport, transfer to hotel, according to time short hiking in north of Tehran or panaromic city tour. Overnight stay in bodget hotel B/B
Day 2: Tehran/Roodbarak
Early morning drive from Tehran to “Roodbarak” village about 5 hours, change car and take 4WD car and drive to “Tang-e-galoo”( 3200 M), start hiking till "Hesar chal" (3600m) in about 2-3 hours. Overnight in Camp.
Day 3: Hiking to the peak
Ascend to Alamkuh peak (4850m) in about 5 hours and descend to camp. Overnight in camp
Day 4: Roodbarak/Poloor
Descend back to “Tang-e-galoo”, drive to “Roodbarak” village, Transfer by car to “Poloor” (near to Damavand) via Caspian seaside. Overnight stay in shelter (B, L, D)
Day 5: Hiking to 4200m
Transfer to “Goosfand sara” (2950 M), start hiking till advance camp of "Bargah-e-sevom" shelter (4200m) in about 4-5 hours. Overnight in shelter or Camp
Day 6: Acclimatization day
Acclimatization day, ascend till (4800m) for acclimatizing and return to shelter. Overnight in shelter or camp.
Day 7: summit day
Early in the morning start hiking, ascend to the Damavand peak (5671m) in about 7 hours and descend to shelter or camp
Day 8: Back to Tehran
Descend back to “Goosfandsara” and drive to Tehran and transfer to hotel.
Day 9: Departure
According to your flight time, transfer to the airport and end of th tour
