Mount Alam Kooh – is a mountain in Alborz mountain range in north of Iran, Mazandaran Province forming a peak of Takht-e Suleyman Massif. It is located in Kelardasht District. With an elevation of 4,850 meters, it is the second highest peak in Iran after Mount Damavand The north face (a little toward north-west) is actually a giant vertical wall. Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Tehran/Roodbarak

Early morning drive from Tehran to “Roodbarak” village about 5 hours, change car and take 4WD car and drive to “Tang-e-galoo”( 3200 M), start hiking till "Hesar chal" (3600m) in about 2-3 hours. Overnight in Camp.

Day 2: Hiking to the peak

Ascend to Alamkuh peak (4850m) in about 5 hours and descend to camp. Overnight in camp

Day 3: Back to Tehran

Descend back to “Tang-e-galoo”, drive to “Roodbarak” village and Tehran where our tour ends.
