Tehran Birds Garden

                                                            Biggest bird's garden in Iran

Tehran Birds Garden is located in the north east of Tehran in the heart of Lavizan Park. Tehran Birds Garden is designed in two phases.

This will be the biggest bird garden in the country. In other cities, such gardens are 2 hectares in area and a 20-hectare garden has had no precedence in Iran.

A good environment has been provided for tropical birds and about 250 species of birds numbering more than 20,000 will be living in the park. As various parts of the garden are finished, birds will be transferred there.

The first phase which is utilized at the moment is called “Dashtcher” and contains birds that are kept in cages or cannot fly. The second phase which is smaller than the first phase in area is in the process of construction in northern area and is called “Abcher”. This phase includes birds that can fly and probably like the birds garden in Isfahan, they will be prevented from leaving the area by net. Construction of this garden lasted 3 years.
